Your services can be arranged and paid for in advance, saving your family additional stress at a difficult time. Advance payments are placed in trust. Services are guaranteed at any time in the future. If the cost of providing the service is more than the original payment (including accrued interest) Lakeland Funeral Home will pay the difference. If the cost of providing the service is less than the original payment (including accrued interest) Lakeland Funeral Home will refund the difference to the estate.
By making your arrangements in advance your family and friends are relieved of the emotional difficulties associated with planning what you would have wanted for your funeral arrangements.
Our non-commissioned sales staff will provide you with a free quote at your convenience. You sign nothing until you're absolutely comfortable.

PRE-PAID FUNERAL
- wishes are on file
- family is alleviated of decision making at the time of death
- your money is placed into a Guaranteed Investment Certificate or Annuity in the funeral homes' name, in trust for the purchaser or beneficiary (it remains your money) you pay whatever the cost is, at the time of death
- and made with a clear frame of mind
- if paid in full, you never pay more than at the time of investment
- interest earned over time will look after the rise in costs
- if the interest does not look after the rise in cost, the funeral home absorbs the difference
- if there is interest left-over, it is returned to the estate
- the money is secure and safe and cannot be withdrawn without the authorization from the purchaser, or the beneficiary dies
PRE-ARRANGED FUNERAL
- wishes are on file
- family is alleviated of decision making at the time of death
- you pay whatever the cost is, at the time of death
- your choices are well researched and made with a clear frame of mind
Any pre-paid funeral at any funeral home can be cancelled or transferred at any time to another funeral home. Lakeland Funeral & Cremation Centre has a policy of never applying a cancellation fee, which is allowable under the Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act 2002.
