Dear Laura and Charlene:
Today, Jan 18, 2017, we have just learned of the passing of your father and our beloved friend.
It is with Great sorrow and shock that we received this news today.
We loved both your Mom and Dad and we shared many wonderful memories together.
We are heart broken and so sad to hear of Dudley's passing, and to know we have missed the memorial service.

I look at this photo and it all comes back to me. That whacky song he would sing to all of the kids in their beds (something about a watermelon), clambering into the lake at the Ginstel cottage 'cause I was a little brat and pretended I had drowned, taking out his teeth and flipping his eyelids, and his "I can still smoke in my car" bumper stickers. I miss you Uncle Dud. You were loved and you did love like no other.

Laura and Charlene, I am so very sorry to here of Dudley's passing. I have so many great memories of your Dad, he was a very special man. I can't imagine what you two must be going through however you can take comfort in knowing that he now rests in your Mom's loving arms for eternity. Please accept our condolences.

So sorry to hear about Dudleys passing. He was always such a character, making everyone laugh & enjoy themselves around the cottage campfires!! He will definitely be missed in Baldwins Bay!!

All-though I have not seen Dudley or Fran for many years they will always be in my "memory bank of friends". They were great and hospitable people to say the least. We had a lot of laughs and much fun together. Heart-felt condolences to all the family. My God help keep you strong during this sad time.
