Our heartfelt condolences and sympathies go to Donna, family and friends.
Many years ago our family met Bill through The Halliburton Highlands Silver Flutes Band. Bill did an amazing job teaching a group of young people the meaning of discipline, the values of integrity, and how to respect others, that went well beyond playing in a band. Today we are very fortunate to have two very healthy young adults who continue to apply the lessons they learned while under Bill’s guidance.
Family is the most important thing. Bill un-selfishly dedicated immeasurable hours away from his own family for the benefit of others. This is how people reach legacy status, and in this regard, Bill is the Bandmaster.
We are grateful for what Bill has brought to our family.
It was a honour to know him.

So sorry for your loss! I remember when Donna and Bill first started dating. He walked into a household of 4 females - very brave soul!

Our condolences at your time of grief. He has left many happy memories with his mentoring of our daughter Christine in the flute bands and attending the many parades both from Scarborough and Minden. It was always great to see him. Thank you for sharing him with us

Our condolences to Donna and family. Not often in ones life do we we receive a gift from someone that impacts the road we travel, the values we live, the memories we hold with such kindness and veracity as your Bill did. He did this not for one or two but so many. I hope you all find peace with your loss with the knowledge that to celebrate his life is a true celebration of a great and wonderful man.
