William Robert Maurice Mercer

Passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital on November 25, 2024 in his 93rd year. William is now at rest with his beloved wife Beverley Mercer (nee Belban). Predeceased by his parents William & Gertrude Mercer. He is survived by daughter Edna Croft (Bill). Loved by two grandchildren.

William had a much fulfilled life. He was a bus driver with Laidlaw transport for most of his working career, where he received 40 years worth of Safe Driving awards. He was remembered by all the students by giving each of them a silver dollar at the end of the school year. He was generous to a fault, a kind and devoted man. He was a loving family man. The love he had for his wife Bev was unmatched. She was everything to William, and now they are at peace together again.

Burial will take place on Thursday November 28th, 2024 at 11AM at Glendale Cemetery in Etobicoke Ontario.
