Wanda (Sheppard) Thompson

THOMPSON, Wanda – While surrounded by her loving family, Wanda passed away at Ross Memorial Hospital on Friday, January 24th, 2020 at the age of 63. Beloved wife and best friend of Harry. Loving and devoted mother of Allan (Eden) and Joey (Shawnna). Proud grandmother of Daniel and Jonathan. Cherished sister of Trina Bleichert (Chris) and the late Derrick Sheppard, sister-in-law of Heather Hawkins (Chris) and Lesley Bunting (Chris), and aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Howard and Mildred Sheppard. Dear daughter-in-law of Harry and Isabel Thompson. Wanda was an avid gardener who loved to camp and loved to dance the night away. Her love will continue to be felt by all who knew her. In keeping with Wanda’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of Wanda’s life held at LAKELAND FUNERAL & CREMATION CENTRE, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay, on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 1:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. Casual clothing preferred as per Wanda’s request. In lieu of flowers and in memory of Wanda, donations to the Ross Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit would be greatly appreciated.
