Wanda Dorothy Farmer

FARMER, Wanda Dorothy (nee Timbers) passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital, in Lindsay on Saturday, August 13th, 2016 in her 83rd year with family by her side. Wife of George James Farmer (deceased). Predeceased by parents Marshall and Zella Timbers (nee Gummer). Survived by dear sister Donna James of Georgetown, ON. Fiesty Mother to Rob (Sue), Donna (Robert C), Julia (Todd), James (Audrey) and Colleen (Don). Super missed Grandmother of Jason (Julie), Colleen (Mark), David (Susan), Tammy (Resty), Josh (Leslie), Jessica (Brendan), Jake and Mitchell. Fondly remembered by her 11 Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandson. Wanda will be missed by daughter-in-law Wendy, & former sons-in-law Eric, Steve and Joseph. Good friends and angels Freda Watson and Diane T were dearly loved and appreciated by Wanda. Special thanks to Dr. Stuart Bothwell for his attentive care over the past years and to the RMH Palliative Care Unit (Especially Sue & Jessi) for their kindness during this time. A Celebration of Wanda's Life will take place on September 10th, 2016 from 1:00P.M.-3:00P.M. at the Port Perry Legion. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Hospice Kawartha Lakes. Donations and on-line condolences can be made at www.lakelandfuneralcentre.com.
