VITAL (VICTOR) TRUDEL It is with sad hearts that the Trudel family wish to inform family and friends of the passing of Vital (Victor) Trudel on Saturday, November 19, 2011 in his 92nd year. He died as the result of multiple trauma suffered after a motor vehicle accident near his home in Lindsay, Ontario. He proudly served his country in World War II in the European theatre in different capacities. Beloved husband of Ruth (Jane) Trudel of 68 years and dear father of Lucille (Mel Healy), Paul (Lynn), Philippe, Regis (Nancy), Bernadette (Cyrus Mejia), Michael (Lindsay), David (Roxane), Joseph (Patty), Mark (Barb), Anne (David Inglis). Also loving grandfather of Kate, Sean, Margaret, Michael, Laura, Sarah, Jeanne, Odette, Andre, Shirly-ann, Michelle, Kimberley, Manuel, Matthew, Lisa, Amanda, Shawn, Andrew, John, Sarah, James, Aaron, Cassandra and great-grandfather to Sophie, Emily, Nyles, Hannah, Charlotte, Ella, Trent, Joshua, Elisha, Victoria. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation for the kind and efficient care given to him at this difficult time - City of Kawartha Lakes EMS, Police and Firefighters, the Ross Memorial Hospital Emergency Nurses and Dr. Dawn Reid and the ICU Nurses - especially Elaine, Sally, Cindy and Samantha and of course Dr. A. Albeer and Dr. C. Noronha. Memorial service will be held at St. Mary's Church, 31 Russell St. E., Lindsay, Ontario on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in the name of Vital Trudel to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation.
