BURTCHALL, Vera – Peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Vera passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the age of 98. Beloved wife for 42 years of the late Dave Burtchall. Loving and devoted mother of Chris Burtchall, Ian Burtchall (Jo-anne) and Heather Burtchall. Predeceased by parents Roland and Emily Young. Vera obtained her Nursing Degree at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal and worked as a Registered Nurse in the Newborn Nursery at the Ross Memorial Hospital for 25 years. In keeping with Vera’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a private family interment at the Fenelon Falls Cemetery (Concession Road). If desired, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Donations and expressions of condolence can be made at www.lakelandfuneralcentre.com
