Swinbourne “Swin” Sidney
Peacefully in Lindsay at Caressant Care, on Tuesday, November 17th, 2015 at the age of 86 years.  Beloved husband of 63 years to Gloria (nee Runtz).  Proud father of Larry, Donald (Andrea) and David (Moira).  Dear brother of Blanche (late Emmett) Leclair.  Predeceased by his brothers Marcus “Mick” (late Sylvia) and Edward “Ed” (late Kathleen).  Cherished grandfather of Chantelle, Christopher, Alison, Jennifer, Kay and Danielle.  Swin served with pride in the Canadian Army as a paratrooper with Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry and enlisted for two tours with Continental Europe deployment.  A private family interment will follow cremation at a later date.  If desired, donations in Swin’s name to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family. http://convio.cancer.ca/goto/Swin_Sidney
