January 7, 1985 ~ October 25, 2021 (age 36) 36 Years Old
Passed away Monday, October 25, 2021. Beloved husband of Marie-Claude Parent. Loving father of Mya Lemay, Benjamen Beaudet and Jordyn Greenhorn. Survived by his parents Bernard Greenhorn, Debbie and Joe Elliott, his sisters Amanda (Paul), Heather (Matt) and Kim and his brother Drew (Ricky). He will always be remembered by his dog Bonito, his Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins, his extended family in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Quebec and his numerous friends. Steve truly lived his life to the fullest, which is why you could always hear him saying “Life is short, you only live once.”
Family and friends are invited to Lakeland Funeral & Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Sunday, October 31 from 10:00 A.M - 12:00 P.M. and from 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. Funeral Service will take place in the chapel on Monday, November 1 at 1:00 P.M. A reception will follow the service upstairs at the Pie Eyed Monk, 8 Cambridge Street North, Lindsay. (Proof of vaccination and photo ID are required)
If desired, rather than flowers, please consider donations made in memory of Steve to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes or the BGC Kawarthas.
At the family's request, attendees will be required to show proof of vaccination and photo ID to attend the service which will allow full capacity at the funeral home. Masks or face coverings are mandatory. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the service to ensure a timely entry to the chapel.
Proof of vaccination is NOT required for the VISITATION. Masks or face coverings and social distancing are mandatory.
