Sophie Mary Hnatko

Entered into rest peacefully at her home in Bracebridge, Ontario, our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Sophie HNATKO passed away with her family by her side on July 9th, 2021 at the age of 90 years.

It gives family great comfort knowing Sophie is reunited with her beloved late husband, Joe Hnatko, of 53 years. She is further received by her late sons Billy and Tom as well as her late great grandson.  Sophie is survived by her loving children: Susan Read (late Dave), Pattie Dylla (late Stephen), Mike (Kim), Kathy Riberdy and daughter in-laws Linda Hunt and Denise Hnatko. Cherished grandmother of 17 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Sister of Olga Bishop (Bill) and Bill Pewar.  Sister-in-law to Mary McCarton, John Hnatko (Jill) and Peter Hnatko (Arlene) as well as numerous relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday July 17th, 2021 from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm at Lakeland Funeral and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay, ON.  Followed by interment and blessing at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay, ON at 3:15 p.m.

No RSVP required.
There is a MAXIMUM of 50 people allowed in the funeral home at a time.

Attendees are asked to line up outside (social distancing)
until funeral home staff allow you in.
