Passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 26th, 2009 at Fenelon Court Long Term Care Centre, Fenelon Falls in her 81styear. Beloved wife of Gord Stewart of Cameron for 60 years. Loving mother of Larry (Terry), Joanne (Dave Burns), Debbie (Bruce Hicks) and Tommy (predeceased). Much loved grandmother of nine and great grandmother of 14. Survived by sisters Gail, Norma and Yvonne. Predeceased by her parents Leslie and Evelyn Taylor and brother Leslie. Shirley will be fondly remembered by all her family and friends. The family would like to express special thanks for the excellent and loving care provided by the staff at Fenelon Court Long Term Care Centre. There was a private family service at Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay.
