Passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre at the age of 77. Daughter of the late William and Ethel Ormiston (nee Gascoyne). Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Albert Beer. Shirley will be sadly missed by her children Kevin, Kerry (Sharon), Keith (Paula), Tyler, Karl (Lori) and John (Kim) Waterson. Cherished grandmother of Kristen Deyell (Jeremy), Lindsey Beck (Andrew), Kaleb Beer (Julie), Kimberly Beer (Jeff), Alex Beer (Tyler), Katelyn Beer, Kris Beer, Aaron Waterson and Austin Waterson. Great grandmother of Kennedy, Emerson and Adalynn Beck. Sister of June (Alan) Carnochan. Family and friends are invited to come and celebrate Shirley’s life, where anecdotes and remembrances are very welcome, at a Memorial Reception held at Parker Funeral Home, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
