Sharon Arlene Rafferty of Lindsay passed away peacefully in her 80th year at Ross Memorial Hospital on Friday, May 22, 2026.
Predeceased by her loving parents, father Doug and mother Lois. Sharon leaves behind her brother Philip, sister Lois and nieces and nephews. As well as her precious cat Stella.
Sharon will be remembered for her laughter, love to make others laugh and her quirky sayings. Her friendships meant everything to her. Sharon’s greatest relationship was her love and faith in her Heavenly Father Jehovah.
How grateful we are for Community Care Hospice Services for their continued care, support and kindness. Sherry-Anne, Julie, Nurse Tracey, PSW Janet, OT Leanne. You made all the difference.
We want to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Ross Memorial Hospital who cared for Sharon. Especially nurses Claire, Charlene and Emily for their care and emotional support.
To all of Sharon’s friends at Flynn Gardens, Jane Anne, Sharon, Jean and many others for your thoughtfulness and support to Sharon, some for many years, thank you so much.
To all those in the Lindsay Congregation, Sharon so appreciated your love, cards, texts, phone calls, food and visits.
Cremation has already taken place. A memorial service for Sharon will be given Saturday, June 6th at 1:00 P.M. Refreshments to follow. At the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 3859 Hwy 35. All are welcome.
For those who cannot make it in person, the memorial service will be available also on Zoom.
