Shamus Shannon December 23rd 1975-December 27 2020
He is gone and now in his Grandmothers embrace.
Shamus Shannon was a lover, a lover of family a lover of life and all people. A truly pure heart, he bore no malice and forgave without hesitation
Shamus touched many lives and left so suddenly and we couldn’t say goodbye. When you hear good tunes and “ Metallica” ,the laughter of children, a gathering of friends, a hearty argument, see a loving embrace, an artistic tattoo or a struggling person of any age or gender, think of Shamus, he will be there.
We will miss the laughter, the potential but mostly the unbounded love.
Shamus will be forever missed by Sadie Ryleigh and Alexandra…his wonderful children and his gifts to our world.
We, who remain are heartbroken and will miss him forever.
Mom, Josh Tania and family, Jim, Mary Catherine, Rachel,Bill, Marie, and all his wonderful friends.

Remembered fondly by his many cousins.
Born in Matheson Ontario, he was mainly raised in Sudbury. Growing up, he was gifted in many sports, including hockey, golfing, and soccer. Shamus was always full of energy and antics. While he tried his hand at the family business of horse logging, it wasn’t to his suiting. He worked on the oil rigs in western Canada. His last years were spent working in the Lindsay area as a siding installer so that he could be close to his three children.
He had a wide circle of friends who speak fondly of him and consider him family. His closest friends are hosting a live Celebration of Life on January 9th 2021, 6pm-7pm EST. You can find it under the public group, Shamus Shannon Celebration of Life.
