It is with great sadness that the family of Sandra Lee Powell (nee Burgoyne) announces her passing after a long battle with Leukemia, on Tuesday, January 8th, 2013 at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto at the age of 51 years. Sandra will be forever remembered by her husband and best friend Doug, their precious granddaughters Alyssa and Gracie and her sons Jonathan and Kristopher. Also remembered by her brother Andrew (Donna) Burgoyne, nephews Jason (Kari) and Cody Burgoyne and extended family and friends. Predeceased are Sandra’s parents John and Pamela Burgoyne. A memorial service celebrating Sandra’s life will be held on Saturday, January 19th, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Faith Tabernacle Church, 6 Albert Street, Coboconk, Ontario. In lieu of flowers the family is asking to make a donation in Sandra’s name to the Canadian Cancer Society or Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Online condolences may be made at www.parkerfuneralhome.ca.
