Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 14th, 2012 at Victoria Manor, Lindsay with his family by his side in his 87th year. Loving father of Harold of Lindsay and Nancy (Steve Wright) of Pickering. Grandfather of Matthew, Trevor and Breanna. Brother of Joan (Dave Wagstaff) of Lindsay and Lois (Lawrence Ring) of Lindsay. Loved uncle of many nieces and nephews. Roy will be sadly missed by his many friends all over Ontario. The family will receive friends at Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Monday, November 19th from 11:00 am until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1:30 pm. Reception to follow at Riverwood Park Social Club (Wagstaff’s Highway 35 South). In lieu of flowers, if desired, in memoriam donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Mount Horeb United Church would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged by Parker Funeral Home.
