Ross William Short

In Memory of ROSS WILLIAM SHORT December 20, 1932 – July 4, 2024 passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay.

Dearly loved husband of Jean (Stone) for 57 years. Father of the late Steven Short, step-father of Debbie Drinkwalter, Peterborough, the late Darryl Drinkwalter and Donna Drinkwalter, Brockville. Cherished grandfather to six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Special “Pops” to Laurie Roberts – Hoard of Thunder Bay. He is predeceased by his brothers, Charlie, Jim and Murray Short.

Ross was born on the family farm in Seagrave and was a life-long resident of the area. He was a longstanding member of the Port Perry Snowmobile Club and the Cruisin’ Classic Car Club where he made many friends and even more fond memories.

A memorial service to celebrate Ross’ life will be held at Seagrave United Church on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 11:00 am. Private interment will take place at a later date at Pleasant Point Cemetery, Little Britain.
