It is with immeasurable sadness that we announce the passing of Ross Heasman, of Omemee on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay in his 81st year. He will be deeply missed by his wife and soul mate, Marlyne Fisher, sister Alberta Givens, brother-in-law Bill Phillips and several nieces and nephews as well as Cee Cee and Sally. Predeceased by his parents, Hillard and Pearl Heasman and his first wife Lucinda Phillips, siblings Gwen, Beulah, Don and Keith. Ross was a retired employee of General Motors. Ross' wishes are for no visitation. Following cremation, there will be a family burial at a later date at Emily Cemetery. If wished, donations may be made to the Ross Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit in Lindsay and can be arranged by Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 705-324-1988.
