Ronald Leonard Sedgwick

After suffering a heart attack on December 23, 2025 and despite the best efforts of his medical team the family of Ron Sedgwick announces the unexpected passing of their father and brother on December 25, 2025 at St. Micheals Hospital in Toronto, Ontario.

Now reunited with his beloved wife CarolAnn Sedgwick (nee Reed) & cherished son Josh Sedgwick. Ron leaves behind his devoted son Mark Sedgwick (Matt) and his grandchildren Maddox & Bennett. Loved brother of Helen James (Phil) & John Sedgwick (Yvonne). He will be remembered by his sister in laws Shelly Lucas (Steve) & DonnaLee Queen (Jim). Predeceased by brother in law Bill Reed (survived by Kim).

The family of Ron would like to extend a warm thank you to the staff at St. Micheal’s Hospital for all their care and compassion.

In keeping with Ron’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life held at Lakeland Funeral Centre on January 10, 2026 between the hours of 1PM – 3PM.
