PEARCE, Ronald Phillip Howard

July 22, 1953 - October 6, 2023

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ronald Pearce surrounded by his loving family on October 6, 2023, at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, Ontario. Ron was a quiet, caring man who loved farming and spending time with his family.  Born in Bowmanville Ontario to his late parents Howard Pearce and Margaret Pearce (nee Aldread). Devoted and cherished spouse of 44 years to Nancy Pearce (nee Barker). Loving father of Jennifer Pearce (Predeceased 2004), Melanie Lumor (Arnold) and Rhonda Sinha (Philip).  Cherish grandfather to granddaughters Jennifer, Arianna, Korrina, Janiah Lumor. Special Uncle to Jonathon Hammers. Remembered by sister Diane Rowe (Verne) and predeceased by sister Isabel Garnier.  Dear son in law to the late Lorne and Doreen Barker and dear brother-in-law to Gerald (Connie), David (Virginia), Barbara (Jeffery) and predeceased by Sheryle, Gary, Pat and Doug. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family.

The family would like to extend a thank you to the staff at Ross Memorial Hospital, Palliative Care Unit.

A Visitation will be held at Lakeland Funeral Centre on Saturday, October 14 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. A Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 PM followed by a burial at Riverside Cemetery and concluding with a Reception at Lakeland Funeral Centre.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada.
