Mr. Roland Pottier      

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved on November 29, 2022 at Ross Memorial Hospital, in his 87th year.

Born in Belleville Nova Scotia, he was the only son of the late Wilfred and Isabel (d’Entremont )Pottier.  Roland had 2 sisters, Winifred Kisielewski (deceased 2007) and Phyllis (Rene) Comeau.

Roland moved to Ontario at the age of 18 and was a proud and long time member of the Ontario Carpenters Union.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Gerene (Cormier) of Lindsay, his daughter Shirley (David) Lawson of Lindsay, his son Daniel (Sandra) Pottier of Minden, his son Roger (Yolanda) Pottier of Calgary Alberta,  his daughter Rachel Hartwell of Little Britain, 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will take place at Lakeland Funeral & Cremation Centre on Friday, December 9, 2022.  Visitation at 1:00 pm, service at 2:00 pm, reception to follow.
