Roger John Ham

In loving memory of an exceptional man taken far too soon!

Roger “John” Ham was born on March 6^th, 1954. Mechanic at Elgin Auto parts for over 43 years. Son of Lennie and June Ham (Predeceased). He will be forever missed by his two daughters Melissa (Aubrey) and Sara. Words cannot describe how much he loved his girls and how much they adored him. His memory lives on in his two grandson’s Andrew and William who are going to miss him dearly. Survived by his companion of 30 years Lynda Howard. Words cannot begin to describe the relationship these two had they loved each other and that is all that matters.

John will be sadly missed by his siblings, Gary (Nola), Larry (Carol), Jim (Angela), Karen (Everton), Keith (Tina), Sheila (Kenny), Perry, Gord and Daron (Linda). Predeceased by his ex-wife Becky Harris. His nieces and nephews will cherish memories of all the things that he has taught them over the years.

His two cats Bosi the brain-dead cat and Mookie Mrs. Attitude will also miss John.

John was a genuine person who would give the shirt off his back even if it were his last. He was a great man with many friends that would come to the “garage” for beers and good conversation. John was always willing to lend a hand and would work tirelessly on anyone’s vehicle that needed fixed.

There will be no service at this time due to Covid-19 restrictions.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date when safe to do so.
