Dear Patricia and family:
We were shocked to hear of Robert's sudden passing. He was far too full of life to have passed away so soon in his retirement. He always had an interesting story to tell and he shared an interest with Brian in steam railways. He would often ask me if Brian had any recent issues of Steam Railway. He will be sorely missed as a regular visitor to the Woodville Library. May he have many happy hours in that great big steam railway in the sky.

Dear Patricia:
I just got it confirmed from Jane that it was "our" Robert that left us for Home. I'm so sorry for you....you two had a love that was enviable, like beautiful country song "Forever and Ever, Amen". He told me many times how you met and how many years you had known each other. You made him incredibly happy and thus, he left this world a happy man because of you. I will never see or hear about an Eaton's truck without thinking of Robert Davis for the rest of my days on this side of the sky.
