CATHER, John Robert

April 10, 1944 – August 27, 2023

It is with deep sadness that the Cather family announces the passing of John Robert Cather. He was the loving husband of Diane Cather (nee Orrell). Cherished father of Renee (Michael) & Matt. Proud grandfather of Alexander, Zoe, Alyssa & Breanna. Robert will be missed by many extended family members and friends. The family also wishes to extend their gratitude to Robert's friend Michael McCallum, who helped to take care of Robert in his final weeks.

As per Robert’s wishes, Cremation has taken place. The Cather family extends their invitation to a Celebration of Life that will be held on Friday, September 15th, 2023 between the hours of 1 PM – 3 PM at Lakeland Funeral Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay.

In memory of Robert, donations can be made to Five Counties Children's Centre or the Canadian Cancer Society.
