Robert William Bourne

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry. Cherished father of Ashley McMartin (Scott). Loving grandfather of Hannah McMartin (Dylan Prong) & Matt McMartin. He is fondly remembered by his sister Jennifer Hutt & dear friend Susan Allen. 

Robert was a simple man with a kind heart. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. He lived life to the fullest, filling his time with all his hobbies. Robert was a long haul truck driver for many years and upon retirement he found joy in travelling, most recently making his way to New Zealand, Australia and Alaska all within the last two years. When he was not travelling the world, he travelled to any place he could spot planes, watch car racing, motocross racing, or sail his boat “Skeeno III” with his beloved daughter. You could often find him at Peterborough Speedway helping his grandson with his racecar and being a very important part in the “LMT Motorsports" team. He loved helping the team and hanging out with all the guys at the track. He will be dearly missed by many. 

In keeping with Robert’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
