Rick Williams

Rick passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, Ontario on Thursday, August 8th, 2024. Rick, in his 79th year is survived by his wife, of 49 years, Susan Williams. Loving father of Marcia, Richard, Chris, Jason, and Tracey, as well as his son in law Glen Hartwell (Tracey), daughter in laws Chasity Robertson - Williams (Jason), Heidi Williams (Chris), Jennifer Van Assche (Richard). Rick was a very proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren Devon, Chloe, Jayden, Katlyn, Kenzie, Juliet, Jonah, Zack, Lincoln, Riley and Hudson who was born August 7th. Rick was a butcher by trade earlier in his life, later becoming an advocate for The Injured Worker working through his various not for profit injured worker groups helping his many clients get through the workers compensation process. Friends and family are welcome to attend a visitation, Friday, August 16th from 10 – 11am, followed by a funeral service at 11am at Lakeland Funeral & Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay ON. Cremation to follow. If desired, donations in memory of Rick can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
