Ralph Walter Whyte
Aged 86 of Cameron has passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on May 3, 2026 in Lindsay. Born on May 14,1939 in Rosetown, Saskatchewan to Robert & Bertha Whyte. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Beverly, his children: Richard (Barb), Steven, Deborah (Bob predeceased), Timothy (predeceased) (Jocelynne); Step children: Ryan (Karin), Drew (Rita), Shane (Kate), Wade (Holly); Grandchildren: Bodan, Adam, Katya, Darah, Mara, Taylor, Natasha, Lauren; Great grandson Malachai. Predeceased by his first wife Donna Whyte. Ralph will also be sadly missed by his family, friends and church family.
Ralph was well known in many communities as a man of faith who had a generous heart and spirit. Ralph was passionate about his faith, work and community; always lending an ear to those in need. Ralph served in the Canadian Armed Forces and was stationed in Germany for two years. He had many successful adventures over the years. He owned and operated Whyte’s Upholstery in Bowmanville, was president of the Kinsman Club, operated a dairy farm in Mapleton and Lindsay, became a landlord in Bowmanville and Cameron, eventually settling into the role of pastor at the Cameron Community Church.
Family and friends are welcome to Lakeland Funeral Centre in Lindsay on Monday, May 11 for a visitation from 9:30 A.M. until time of funeral service at 11:30 A.M. Reception to follow. Burial to take place in Bowmanville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Windsor Life Centre in Ralph’s name.
