Phyllis Mary Dingwell (nee Feaver)
Died peacefully at home after a 2 1/2 year struggle with lung cancer on Wednesday, October 17, 2012. Mom never complained of her illness and took comfort in the many family and friends that kept her company in person and by phone. Everyone involved in mom’s care from the time of diagnosis until her death was wonderful. The family would like to thank the caring, compassionate PSW’s, nurses and nurse practitioners who kept her comfortable and made it possible for us to keep her at home. We would also like to thank Dr. Pat Marchuck who always took great care of mom. Beloved wife of the late Angus (Jim) Dingwell. Loving mother of John (deceased) and his wife Angela, Benjamin, Jean Ann (Alan Mitchell deceased), Dixie (Ron Harkness) and Mary Lynn (Peter Gerow). Grandmother of Brian (Jennifer), Michael (Robert), Ashley, Douglas, Jennifer (Andrew), Laura (Alex). Great Grandmother of Carol-Anne, Keira, Natalie and Isabelle. Sister of Bob and Joyce Feaver, June and (Robert Wells (deceased)), Bill and Sadie Feaver, Ted and Maxine Feaver, Rita and George Flanigan, Doug and Karen Feaver, Jean and Cyril Brown, Beverley and Al O’Connell, Jackie and Fred Watson. The family will receive friends at Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Sunday, October 21st from 1:00 pm until time of service in the chapel at 2:00pm.
