Peter William Newman

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden, but peaceful passing of our Dad, Peter William Newman, husband of the Late Beverly (Lillico). Peter passed away on December 31, 2024 at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, Ontario in his 89th year, with both children by his side.

Dad and Mom were both born and raised in Peterborough, Ontario and had been married 58 years at the time of her passing in 2020.

Peter leaves son David (Paula) and daughter Lynda (Joe). Grandchildren Taylor and Hannah. Great-grandchild Theo (Hannah and Jordan). Peter will be missed by his nephews Kevin, Steve (Mary-Lynne),Bryan (Heather), Graeme (Jim). Great nephews and niece.

A visitation will be held at Lakeland Funeral Centre (19 Moose Road, Lindsay Ontario K9V 0A2) on January 25, 2025 beginning at 1PM until time of service at 2PM.
