Peggy Thompson
Such a Mom! Sunday November, 14th, 2021 our parents were reunited in heaven. Born Margaret Jane Dennis (Peggy) four named after her. Predeceased by parents James and Sarah Catherine Dennis and eight siblings, four of whom made it to adulthood and were super close. Peggy is the last member of that Dennis family. Amazing Mom to her four D's Dougie (Darlene), Darlene (Greg), Dianne (Dave) and Dawn (Mike). Loving Nana to Tammy (Dave), David (Dana), Lindsay (Dom), Christine (Riley), Brett, Trevor, Brad, Carly, Scotty wee man, Elexis and Nathan. Greatest Great Nana to Dillon, Daniel, Ashley, Mischa, Dawson, Andrew, Emma, Emerson, Andy, Levi, Maverick and Travis. Loving Auntie to many Nieces and Nephews. Peggy was so many things to so many ... always making time to volunteer and help out Family and Friends. Her career was Mom first and odd jobs, post-office, in-home daycare because of her love of babies, and cleaning houses with her good buddy Carol. Her best friend of over 58 years, Marilyn and her would laugh and chat for hours up until a few weeks ago. Her passion was knitting, talented creations made with her pure love for ALL us to treasure. Time was the greatest gift she gave us. Texting, chatting, visits and huge get togethers made her happiest. Our hearts are heavy however content knowing Mom is pain free and dancing to Elvis, with the love of her life of more than 65 years William Raymond (Ray) Thompson. A family graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 20 at 11:00 A.M. at Riverside Cemetery, 347 Lindsay Street South, Lindsay. Donations to Sick Kids Hospital and/ or Ross Memorial Hospital would be greatly appreciated in her honour.
