Patrick Willard Munroe

Patrick passed away at the age of 83 on September 28, 2023.  He was surrounded by his family.

Beloved husband of Gloria Munroe, father to Tracy (Colin) and Tammy (Sunil).  Grandfather to TJ, Jesse, Ariel, Taylor, Michaela, Courtney, Caiden and Rayne. Patrick was born in Parry Sound, Ontario to Margaret Mary Smith and Willard Warren Munroe.  He was the 7th of thirteen children.  Patrick retired from General Motors after 32.8 years and was a proud member of the GM Choir. In retirement he found his passion for tennis and birds.  When he wasn't on the tennis courts he would often be found sitting on the swing on his deck chirping back to the birds.  Patrick spent his retirement years between Florida and Lindsay, learning to play pickleball while in Florida. Patrick was a ray of sunshine who always took the time to chat whether you were a family member, friend or complete stranger.  He would leave every conversation with his infectious smile and the phrase "Keep Smilin". Patrick had immense love and pride for his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He will leave a large hole in the life of everyone who knew and loved him.

There will be a Celebration of Life on October 21, 2023 at The Days Inn & Suites, 134 Angeline St. S, Lindsay, ON from 1-3pm. No black clothing required, he was more of a colourful guy.
