Entered into rest peacefully at Caressant Care in Lindsay on Friday, April 22nd, 2011 in his 93rd year. Morgan was the beloved husband of Marguerite for 66 years. Dear father of Lloyd (Marguerite) of Downeyville, Ruth of Peterborough, Carl of Lindsay, Marlene of Pickering and Michael (Jackie) of Downeyville. Loving grandfather of Stephen, David (Amy), Christine, Laurie, Dan, Courtney, Carlene, Karen (Mike) Goodhand and Sheena Perron. Great grandfather of Lauren and Rachel Goodhand. Previously deceased by his parents Vincent and Loretta O’Connell, Ralph (Helen) O’Connell, Joe (Jessie) O’Connell, Marguerite (Terry) Foley and Louis (Betty) O’Connell. Sadly missed by Clair and Margo Lucas and family. Family and friends will be received at Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Monday, April 25th from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Luke’s Roman Catholic Church, Downeyville on Tuesday, April 26th at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at St. Luke’s Cemetery. Parish prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Monday, April 25th at 7:00 pm. In memoriam donations to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation or St. Luke’s Building Fund would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged by Parker Funeral Home 705-324-1988.
