It is with great sadness that we announce that tragically on Thursday May 19th 2022, Monica Sooley at the age of 35 years was taken away from all who loved her.

Monica was the loving wife of Bradley, Mommy to Owen age 6 and Colin age 4. Daughter of Howard and Susan Spice of Barrie, brother to Mack and his partner Catherine. Amazing daughter in law to Curtis and Leanne Sooley, sister in law to Christopher, loving aunt to Damien. Paul and Ruby Lippett are her loving Grandparents in law. Monica will be forever loved and remembered by her many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends.

Our family wishes to thank all the emergency responders, those at the Ross Memorial Hospital Emergency Department, the O.P.P. and Victim Services for all of their support, compassion, and care.

We wish to share a very special thank you to the work crew who were first on scene, and stayed with Monica. There are no words that can express our deep gratitude and thanks.

Friends and family are welcome to attend a Memorial Service to celebrate Monica’s life, at Lakeland Funeral & Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Saturday, May 28th at 11:00 A.M. Reception to follow.
