Michael "Mike" William Baker

Michael ‘Mike’ William Baker June 4, 1947 – February 12, 2024

Mike passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, Ontario in his 76th year after a lengthy illness. He will be forever missed by his favourite girl, Margaret, his wife of 54 incredible years. Lovingly cherished by daughters Michelle Baker and Joanne Baker (Adrian), and grandchildren Michael Baker (Laurie), Charlotte Gough (Matt), Christian Baker (Chloe), Megan Gregory (Jordan), Jennifer Baker, Aimee Baker and Timothy Baker. Remembered fondly by great grandchildren Scarlett, Ellie, Issac, Eliza Rose, Logan, Riley, Lacey Alice, Matilda, Emma, Oliver and Emily. He will be missed by brother-in-law Al Coe (Beryl). Predeceased by in-laws Elizabeth and Albert.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to staff in the GABU at Peterborough Regional Health Centre and continuing care wing at Ross for the comfort and compassion they brought Mike in his final days.

There will be a Memorial Service held at Lakeland Funeral Centre (19 Moose Road, Lindsay, Ontario) on Friday, February 16th, 2024 at 1 p.m., with a reception to follow.
