December 19, 1940 – November 25, 2021 (age 80)

ROONEY, Michael passed away peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital on Thursday, November 25, 2021 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Caroline (Bezener) Rooney. Dear father of Christopher (Georgina) and Ann Alves(Dave).

Grandfather of Anthony Alves, Maria Alves and Aidan Rooney. Michael is survived by his sisters Rachel Murray (Bob) and Joan Melanson (Buzz) and sister-in-law Lenore Rooney (the late Noel).

Michael will be greatly missed by all family and friends. In keeping with Michael’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held.
