Michael T. Peters

Michael Treffley Peters, of Fenelon Falls, (originally from Bancroft) passed away peacefully in his 54th year, after a short illness in Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, ON, on February 12th, 2010. Michael was born in Pembroke, ON, December 31, 1956 the second child of Mack (Michael) and Aline (Chouinard) Peters (both deceased) of Bancroft, ON. Michael attended various schools in his elementary years; Our Lady of Mercy, Catholic School in Bancroft, Highland Grove Public School, Highland Grove and Cardiff Public School, Cardiff. He also attended North Hastings High School, Bancroft, ON. Michael had lived for the past 20 years in a Specialty Care Home in Fenelon Falls and was cared for by the Sedore family and most recently the Wyatt Family and will be greatly missed. We wish to thank the families and all members of staff there for the kindness bestowed to Michael over the years. Michael is survived by his older brother, Jules Peters, companion Jose Roncken, Trenton, ON and younger sister, Louise (Peters) Tabaczynski and fiance, Glen Sullivan, Whitby, ON. He is further survived by a niece, Candice Tabaczynski, Whitby ON, a nephew, Christopher Tabaczynski, wife, Samantha Cover and grandniece, Sophie Tabaczynski, of Fort McMurray, AB. A memoriam in his name is being held on Saturday, February 20th at 11:00 a.m. at Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay ON.
