Passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016 with his family by his side. Predeceased by his wife Diane (2009) and parents Edward & O`Tillie Dreger. Dear brother of Wilhelm (Corrine) Dreger. Survived by his daughter Denise (Tony), her children Michael, Marc and Paul, Denise`s step children Natalie (Andy), John (Chris) and their children Kimberley, Carl & Tommy; daughter Darlene (Luis), grandchildren Sara and Nico; son Daniel, grandchildren Eric & Christopher. Step children Kim & Dwayne, their children Kyle (Bree), Daniel, Nicholas, Lucas & Justice. In January Mel had his first great grandson, Russell. Remembered by his friend Donna. Melvin will be remembered for his huge heart. He dedicated the latter part of his life to making a beautiful loving retirement home for several residents. Anyone that has drove around the bend on Thunderbridge Road could not help but notice his beautiful gardens he worked so hard on. The family will receive friends at Lakeland Funeral & Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Tuesday, March 22 from 11:00 A.M. until time of Memorial Service in the chapel at 1:00 P.M.
