Passed away peacefully on Monday, August 6th, 2012 at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay. Beloved husband of Jean Muller (Kirkpatrick). Loving father of Jeffery (Lynn Lyall) of Bethany and Kevin (Leisa Tomilson) of Oshawa. Grandfather of Michael, Joshua, Maggie and Zachary. Predeceased by his parents Elisabeth and Michael Muller and sister Anna Kroll. Matthew was a member of the Manvers Township Fire Department, Bethany Station from 1977 to 1995. Matthew was an employee of the City of Oshawa for 34 years. The family will receive friends at Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay on Saturday, August 11th from 12:00 pm until time of service in the chapel at 1:00 pm. Reception to follow. If desired, in memorial donations to the Ontario Sporting Dog Association Youth Apprenticeship Program would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged by Parker Funeral Home 705-324-1988.
