Dear Ted, Bonnie, Kayla, and Aaron, grandma Mary holds such a sweet place in my heart, as do you all. i remember her kindness, her curiosity and genuine interest in whatever we happened to be doing on any day/at any point in time. these past years i have been so grateful for facebook connecting us, and i loved to see her humor shine through the comments she wrote. it seemed so apparent how glad she was to have such a close relationship with you all. reading the comments on fb as well as here i see how much love she was able to spread around, how many people felt cared-for by her, and that is a beautiful gift. i wish that this time be full of joyful memories for you, full of peace, and full of connection

I don't know Mary personally, but my parents Bill and Helen Dettman lived up on Crystal Lake near Kinmount and knew her. My Dad recently passed away in June, Mary made my Mom one of her beautiful cards in condolence. My Mom just showed me yesterday, her collection of cards that she has rec'd from Mary over the years. You can tell they were made with love. I'm sorry to hear of her of passing. I just wanted to let you know how she touched others lives. Carole-lea Dettman
