Aunt Mary was wonderful, she was so kind, always remembering my interests. I specifically remember going to Aunt Mary's every other Christmas - with Grandma (Moore/Bird), my brothers and my parents (Bill and Gloria), sometimes Gracilia and Ed and some of Uncle Ed's relatives - usually in formidable winter weather but we always made it. I was quite young but do remember always feeling safe once we arrived. I remember the big family dinners at Christmas and other times throughout the year. It really was a wonderful piece of my childhood. Aunt Mary was always interested in our lives and families (my brothers and I). In the past few years I enjoyed visiting her in Lindsay at her house and in the retirement homes. She was a wonderful, caring person. Rest in peace Aunt Mary, you were loved by many and are missed greatly.

I have many fond memories of Aunt Mary. So many holiday dinners up at the farm with her, Uncle Ed and Julie; both as a child then late when my kids were young. A big fire roaring in the huge fireplace downstairs, Aunt Mary cooking up a storm upstairs.

She was a great woman and will be missed.
