Timbers, Mary Louise (nee Sandusky)
Peacefully, at Markham Stouffville Hospital after a brief illness on Thursday, January 27, 2011. Mary was born Sept. 2, 1937 in Brampton, Ontario. Loving daughter of the late Edna Lougheed and Adolph Sandusky. Mary worked as a school teacher with the Durham and York School Boards and was a partner in Timbers Brothers Sand and Gravel. She was the loving mother of Merle Jr., Karen (Ed), Wanda, Shelley (Jim), Bruce (deceased), Dean (Angela), Desi (Wendy), and Lee. Ex-wife of Merle Dean Timbers. Loved grandmother of Tiffany (Curtis), Tammy, Caleb, Adam, Aaron, Shanon, Rachel, Ian, Samuel, Mike, and Megan. Predeceased by grandchildren Suzanna and John Alexander (Alex). Great grandmother of Javon, Jahneisa and Jahnya. Mary will also be missed by her brothers Walter (Edith), John (Marg), Jim (Sue), Paul (Cathy), Phil (Brenda), and Peter (Mary) Sandusky. Dear sister of Ruth (Stan), Gwen (Glen), and Elizabeth (Peter). Mary will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and her dog Rocco. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 3 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Parker Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Rd, Lindsay. Funeral service to be held at Calvary Pentecostal Church, 125 Victoria Avenue North, Lindsay on Friday February 4, 2011 at 2 pm. In memoriam donations to the Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged by Parker Funeral Home 705-324-1988.
