With heavy hearts,  we wish to announce the passing of Mary Louisa Hounam (nee Cameron) in her 77th year, fondly remembered as Marilou by her family and close friends. 
Marilou leaves behind her husband,  Donald Alfred Hounam.  Dear mother to daughter, Sherri (Tom Spearing). Loving Nana to Katie and Christa and cherished Great-Nana to Lucas,  Emma and Hunter.
Marilou also leaves behind step-son Donald Jr. (Kathy), Linda (Guy), Wendy (Brian), David and Melanie and their respective families.
As per her family's wishes,  a cremation has taken place and a private gathering with family and close friends in celebration of Marilou's life will be held in the near future.
Our family would like to express our gratitude to the many staff,  nurses and doctors at Ross Memorial Hospital for the care and kindness that they provided during her final days. 
In memory of Marilou, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society is greatly appreciated.
