Martin Klein

KLEIN , MARTIN   Martin, beloved husband of Vera,  passed away peacefully with Vera at his side at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, Ontario on Sunday February 3rd at 81 years of age.  He will be missed by family and friends.  Martin was born in Obereidisch, Romania in 1938 and moved in 1944 to Austria.  He emigrated to Canada in 1957 and in the 1960’s met the love of his life in Vera.  Martin loved the outdoor life – especially the summer days at his cottage on Drag Lake in Haliburton.  Friends and family may call at the Lakeland Funeral & Cremation Centre, 19 Moose Road, Lindsay, on Monday, February 11th for visitation from 1 until 2pm at which time a service will commence in the chapel. A reception will follow.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Red Cross, a favourite charity of Martin & Vera’s.
