Martin Bays Obituary

After suffering from cancer for two years, Marty passed away at home with his family by his side. He is now at peace and free from pain and suffering.

Marty is survived by his loving wife Marion, his brother Tom, and his sisters Romani, Tana, and Wendy. He leaves behind many relatives and friends in Canada, the U.S. Mexico and Australia. He will be dearly missed.

He will be remembered for his gentleness, his concern for the environment and his great compassion for all living creatures.

Marty’s family would like to acknowledge all the support and kindness provided by Kawartha Lakes Community Care and Paramed nurses. The support of both staff and volunteers have been invaluable to Marty and his family.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Marty on Saturday, November 9 at the Canadian Legion, 12 York Street North, Lindsay from 2:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. Everyone is welcome. We would love to hear about your friendship with Marty and any tales that you wish to share.

If desired, donations in memory of Marty can be made to Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes, Community Care, or by making a purchase from 4Ocean.com
