Marian Laurel Graham

GRAHAM, Marian Laurel (nee Blakely) of Fenelon Falls passed away peacefully on March 18, 2016 in her 90th year. She was predeceased by her husband Neil Martin Graham (1981) of Oshawa and her daughter Janice Laurel Graham Kent on July 22, 2014 at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay. Marian is survived by her beloved son-in-law, Gord Kent of Fenelon Falls.  Marian was a loving Grandmother of Elissa Laurel Kent of Ottawa, her partner Chris.  Graham Kent, his wife Nev and Great Grandmother of Ardian and Orion all of Oshawa. Marian was born and raised in Oshawa and resided there until her retirement from the Durham Board of Education in 1988 when she moved to Fenelon Falls. Always busy, Marian was an active member of the United Church, and a life member of the United Church Women. She was also a member of the Fenelon Falls Museum Board, secretary of the Fenelon Falls and District Historical Society, executive member of the Graham Reunion Board, Clan Graham, Horticultural Society and Home League of the Salvation Army. Following her wishes Marian was cremated. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday April 9th at 2pm at Fenelon Falls United Church.
