Dear Brenda: I remember you telling me at Lindsay Ex many years ago about your Mom's breathing issues. I'm sad she has left you. I remember Willa well from the goat show days....when your Dad and Mom showed their floppy eared Nubians under the "Ashburn Pride" prefix if my memory is working here. And that brown GMC first 4 door truck with the serial #00001 that your Dad used for showing goats and that I followed one year to Brooklin Fair, one of my first solo trips with show goats and my brother. With her strong Irish accent, Willa would say "Harold, what show is next? I am thinking the wee kids would do a bit better then as they would be older." I remember so well the "show star", a red and white Nubian named "Michelle" and the excitement when she won Best in Show at Coe Hill Fair. Good times, great memories of a wonderful lady that was so proud of you especially your arrival from BC driving your "hot pink van" as that met you would live near by. God bless you and your family at this sad time.
