Margaret Esther Saunders (nee Duncan)
Peacefully on May 6, 2015 at the Frost Manor in Lindsay, at age 96. Margaret, beloved wife of the late Richard Saunders of Alliston. Loving mother of the late Shirley Blackwell, Richard and his wife Diane, Robert and his wife Laura and Louise and her husband Dennis. Cherished grandmother of Tena (Corey), Melanie (Mark), Amy (Doug), Shannon (Graham), Andrew and Thomas. Loved great grandmother of Valerie, Josephine, Colin, Ian, Myles, Duncan and Rosslyn. Dear sister of Florence Duncan, John (deceased) and Jean (deceased). Margaret was involved in activities that gave her much joy, including singing in the St. Andrew Anglican Church choir, Alliston Senoir Citizen’s Club, volunteering at the Alliston nursing homes, bowling, gardening, line dancing and fitness instructor for seniors in Alliston until age 89. Memorial Service to be held at 11 am on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at St. Andrew Anglican church in Alliston. Interment to follow at St. John’s Anglican church cemetery, 5268-6 line New Tecumseh.
