Passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, Ontario on March 14, 2025. Born in Koblenz, Germany to the Late Alfred Haese & Minna Haese (nee Gross). Manfred leaves behind his loving wife Alwine Haese (nee Zernickel). Devoted step-father to Benita Vandenberg, Karl Heinz (Terri) & Irene Heinz (Maura). Cherished grandfather of Mandy (Wilhelmus), John (Kristin), Adam, Sarah & Austin. Doting great grandfather to Danika, Rylie, Tyler, Cole & Cooper. Manfred will be missed by many family members in Germany.
Manfred was an avid woodworker & craftsman. He liked to keep moving, staying as active as he could. Manfred was well known for his kind heart, warm smile & positive outlook on life.
As per Manfred’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life on Friday, March 21st, 2025 held between the hours of 3 to 6 P.M. in the gathering room on the second floor of Bloom Retirement Residence (12 Thornhill Road, Lindsay, ON K9V 0R7).
