Passed away peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Sunday, March 25th, 2007 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Shackleton. Loving father of David Chessman (Lynda), Raven (Lionel Candow), Cathy Abate, Mae (Jim Hill), June Faulkner (Rob Shepherd), Daniel Chessman (Julie) all of Ontario, Sally (John), Jerry (Pat), Heather Ann and Jane all of England. Lovingly remembered by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Legion and Funeral Service in the chapel at 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 29th, 2007, comrades are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 12:45 pm. Interment will take place in the spring at Janetville Cemetery. In memoriam donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged through the funeral home.
